The Mectron Piezosurgery 3 was inspected for functionality as well as cracks or cosmetic damage for each included piece. The surgery motor powered on and functioned without issue. Both handpieces cut and vibrated to a proper extent when a tip was added and they were ran with a foot pedal. The water delivery gear spun well without any delay or unexpected noise while the foot pedal was pressed. There were no cracks or scratches on any of the pieces and the only cosmetic damage anywhere was a few light marks on the surgery motor and a yellow stain on the handpiece.
